The Dual plane reconstruction option with the UM-DG20-31R allows efficient 3D intraductal ultrasonography (IDUS), and the addition of a guidewire port makes IDUS even easier

When connected to the probe-driving unit MAJ-935, and ultrasound centres EU-ME2 or EU-M60 with 3D software, the DPR function of these ultrasound miniature probe allows the acquisition of 3D ultrasound images. This enables you to view the entire length of the bile and pancreatic ducts in 3D, making it easier to comprehend the relationship between the lesion and the vascular system.

3D ultrasound imaging via a standard endoscope

The dual plane reconstruction (DPR) probe allows the acquisition of a helical ultrasound scan via the working channel of a standard medical endoscope.

Radial and linear ultrasound views

Linear as well as radial images are displayed simultaneously in DPR mode, making it easier to interpret the full detail of ultrasound images.

Wire-guided insertion option

The built-in guidewire port facilitates a transpapillary approach to the bile and pancreatic ducts, making IDUS even easier.

High resolution ultrasound images

At a frequency of 20 MHz, the miniature probe provides detailed, ultrasound images.

Dual plane reconstruction probe

Linear as well as radial scanning makes it easier to interpret ultrasound images, and makes examinations more efficient because the entire length of the bile and pancreatic ducts can be scanned in single linear stroke.

DPR scanning technology

This ultrasound miniature probe uses DPR scanning technology to allow the definition of tumour volumes and tumour invasion depths, as well as exploring the relationship between a lesion and the surrounding vascular system.

3D image processing

Coupling the UM-DG20-31R to the EU-ME2 or EU-M60 with 3D software allows the radial and linear scanned data to be processed into 3D ultrasound images, making image comprehension easier.

Guidewire port

The UM-DG20-31R is the first IDUS-dedicated DPR miniprobe to be equipped with a guidewire port, facilitating a transpapillary approach to the bile and pancreatic ducts.

Compatibility with standard medical endoscopes

The UM-DG20-31R can be extended through the working channels of standard medical endoscopes with a diameter of 3.7mm.
