Flexible Video Ureteroscope
Flexible Video Ureteroscope
The URF-V videoscope provides a crystal-clear, 300% larger image via a CCD sensor in the distal end. In addition, narrow band imaging (NBI) capabilities improve the visualisation of mucosal membranes, further aiding the early diagnosis of UTTC cancers. A tube rotation function and ergonomic design allow easy, comfortable ureteroscopy.
The URF-V has been designed to give crystal-clear images during ureteroscopy (URS) with narrow band imaging (NBI) capability and features to assist handling, making upper tract endoscopic surgery much more easy. The CCD imaging sensor in the distal end of the ureteroscope provides moiré-free, bright images in high colour and at three times the size of fiberscopes. NBI uses specific wavelength bands to improve imaging of the mucosal membrane, assisting with the diagnosis and treatment of UTTC. The URF-V also has an insertion tube rotation function, giving smooth handling and limiting unnatural movements while handling the scope.
The CCD imaging sensor provides a moiré-free, vivid image with a higher colour reproduction that is three times larger than with fiberscopes.
NBI uses specific wavelengths of light to improve the observation of mucosal morphology, improving the tumour detection rate in UTTC by ~25%.
An insertion tube rotation function enables fine adjustment of the laser tip position when aiming at stones, and also allows a comfortable and more ergonomic working position.
The CCD imaging sensor is placed at the distal end of the ureteroscope, giving you moiré-free, bright images without the need for a camera head attachment and eliminating the need to focus.
NBI uses selected wavelengths of the light to take advantage of the scattering and absorption properties of human tissue; this provides you with an improved image of the mucous membranes and assists with UTTC diagnosis and treatment.
An insertion tube rotation function, with a rotation angle of ±90°, enables you to make fine adjustments to the laser tip position when aiming at the stone during ureteroscopy; it also allows you to adopt a comfortable working position.
The option to angulate down by 275° allows you to optimally visualise the lower calyx, and 180° of up angulation (with a small radius) is ideal for you to access the upper/middle calyces.
An integrated camera and light-guide cable make it easy for you to handle the ureteroscope during URS procedures. Also, four programmable buttons are always in your reach on the control section, providing quick access to often-used functions.
